my first personal blog
good evening, good night, it's dark outside.
the time changed when we crossed the border into new mexico. i love this place. beautiful does not effectively describe what i'm seeing. it's been some kind of drive. i have to say that this is so out of my comfort zone. i'm not technically challenged, but there have been some responses to this site that i can't post from one spot to the other. so, angela's sent help shout out to boots (could not have done this without him).
tonight - no, tomorrow morning, we're going to work on uploading pictures and some video.
leaving texas was overwhelming. we have a few shots of very large water irrigation systems (photos to follow)
you've read about our tour of a dairy facility. the video of that will be fun to edit.
the film editing will take a few hours.
all that said, i am giddy and totally pumped. i've been laughing and laughing and laughing some more. a moment doesn't go by that i don't shout, "we're in new mexico!"
the stay in the hostel in albuqerque (i've got to learn to spell that name) was an adventure - a big house with chores required.
so, it's late, and i'm tired. we've decided that to continue we're going to have to stay in santa fe an extra day. the excitement can be draining. mountains and mountains and mountains - oh my!!!!!
for those of you responding know that boots is going to help us post them so we can all share in the excitement. we're also going to upload pictures before we leave this place. thanks for reading. grace has left me speechless.
