5 Days in Montana & Leaving

From Billings to Helena to Missoula - vast horizon-meshing country.
My Sony camera could not do this land justice
My eyes wouldn't, couldn't, catch it all
and the people say "hello" back.

The people who spoke with us were from here, Wyoming, & Florida.
There were the passing through
came to stay
and returning home
All of us on a journey
searching for
wanting more
I get lost in the images in my mind
in my heart

I made new friends
on scenic Hwy 12
in Missoula

So much more to say but I'm still processing
Words come slowly
I just wanted to check in
say 'hello'

We leave today for Wyoming
