i experienced presbyterian scottish heritage yesterday morning as those of scottish ancestry had their clan tartans blessed during a morning presbyterian church service. there were bagpipes and drums (bass, tenor, snare) and the hairs raised on my arms as the music cried through my skin.
there's lots of history there and a tale to be told.
we're going to be staying in a cabin for the next 2 days. there i'll be able to ... slow my spirit and mind. my body's in 'on to the next place' mode.
filming on the streets of santa cruz was eventful. i'm sure angela will tell you of her experience as only she can. let me just add that it got loud for a minute.
i met another artist, joanne, who told me that when you follow your dreams, people will think you're crazy. her artwork is beautiful and if she had not listened to God we would not be able to see the beauty she creates. i let you know that because if you think we're on vacation we're not.
we're filming a documentary
(don't have a producer, buyer, or anything like that - and limited funding)
asking people where can we find God where they live
it is a dream we are following and it may be crazy, but we're still drivin'.
come with us and maybe you'll be inspired to live your dream.
